Arc de Triomphe: Entrance + Rooftop Access

Do not miss the view of Paris from the roof of the Arc de Triomphe, a neoclassical monument 50 meters high that allows you to see all the avenues that radiate from it. Commissioned by Napoleon after his victory at Austerlitz, it took 30 years to build and is decorated with reliefs, friezes and the names of 128 battles and 558 generals. At the base is the tomb of the Unknown Soldier of World War I, with the eternal flame that is lit every evening at 18:30. At the top is an exhibition with displays and models explaining the symbolism of the monument. To access, use the pedestrian tunnels from the north side of the Champs Elysees.
