About this experience

The Paris Aquarium, also known as Cinéaqua, is a must-see just five minutes from the Eiffel Tower, perfect for families and marine life lovers. Inaugurated in 1867, it is one of the oldest aquariums in the world and today houses more than 13,000 creatures in its huge tanks. Its atmosphere is reminiscent of the explorer spirit of the 19th century, with an aesthetic that looks like something out of Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea. Among its 4 million liters of water, you will find species from French rivers such as carp and sturgeon, as well as exotic fish from Tahiti and New Caledonia, including angelfish, clownfish and triggerfish. One of its great attractions is its shark area, where four species are the protagonists of the most exciting moments of the visit. In addition, the aquarium offers mermaid shows, projections on its giant screens, a touch pool for children and live feeding demonstrations. When you leave, you will find yourself in one of the most iconic corners of Paris: with the Eiffel Tower to one side, the Champs Elysées behind you and the city stretching out at your feet.
