Discover the Gothic cloister of the Cathedral, with its historic doors, biblical reliefs and architectural details from the 14th and 15th centuries.

Enter the cloister of the Cathedral, a Gothic jewel built between the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries by architects such as Andrés Escuder and sculptors such as Antonio Claperós. Begin your tour at the exterior doors of La Piedad and Santa Eulalia, and contemplate the white marble Romanesque door that connects the cloister to the Cathedral, decorated with geometric motifs and a Gothic pediment believed to have come from the earlier Romanesque cathedral. The cloister has a rectangular shape and four galleries with arches supported by pillars. Observe the reliefs on the pillars showing scenes from the Old Testament and the legend of the Holy Cross, and be sure to look at the keystones of the vault with engravings from the New Testament.
