Stockholm: SkyView

Since 2010, SkyView has provided spectacular 360-degree panoramic views of the Stockholm skyline. To make this experience possible, the Avicii Arena underwent a major transformation, reinforced with 42 tons of steel and another 70 tons of rails on the outside. The result is an impressive work of engineering using glass gondolas manufactured by Swedish companies specializing in cable transport systems. The SkyView experience begins with an introductory video that explains the construction process and previews the views that await visitors. Participants then board a 12-person glass gondola and slowly ascend to 130 meters above sea level, enjoying a unique, immersive view of Stockholm along the way.
