The Wall Museum Berlin at the East Side Gallery

Walking through Berlin today makes it hard to imagine that, before 1990, the city was divided physically and politically. The Wall Museum offers an in-depth look at this separation, showing the history from both sides of the wall through videos, photographs and newspaper clippings that tell the whole story. In addition, the museum includes interviews with prominent political leaders who managed foreign policy and with guards who were forced to shoot those attempting to cross the wall.
