Das Panorama by Yadegar Asisi offers a unique immersive experience that recreates ancient Pergamon through a 360° digital panorama. Located on Berlin's Museum Island, it combines visual reconstructions with some 80 original works to transport visitors to the heart of the Roman metropolis.

In the absence of a time machine, Yadegar Asisi's Das Panorama is the most immersive experience of an ancient civilization in the world. After its release in 2011, the digital reconstruction of Pergamon is larger and more impressive than ever. In addition, it is the only way to see the Theophilus frieze of the Pergamon altar during the renovation of the north wing. The temporary exhibition hall of the Pergamon Museum houses a 360° panorama that has been digitally stitched together with hundreds of photographs of recreations. Visitors are placed in the bustling center of Roman Emperor Hadrian's Pergamon, surrounded by the once rich and powerful metropolis on the western coast of Asia Minor. Some 80 of the city's masterpieces - statues and other priceless artifacts from the museum's extensive collection - are scattered throughout the enormous space, making this one of the most unique and captivating ways to experience ancient history. It is located on Berlin's Museum Island, a museum complex on the northern side of Spree Island in Berlin's historic center.
