Interactive historical museum about 100 years of Estonia with exhibits, Soviet sculptures and family areas.

Explore a century of Estonian history at the Maarjamäe History Center, opened on the occasion of the centenary of the Republic in the palace of the same name. Tour its indoor and outdoor exhibits, seating areas and playgrounds. The award-winning exhibition My Free Country narrates the evolution of the country from its independence until today through eight rooms filled with objects, texts and scenographies. You can see original pieces such as the military jacket of the hero Julius Kuperjanov, still with the bullet impact, and stroll among Soviet monuments in the outdoor exhibition Memory. You will also discover dances from the 1930s, key political decisions and the secrets of cinema in a room dedicated to the seventh art. Children will enjoy the Estonian-shaped playground, while adults gaze out over the old town and Tallinn Bay or sample local dishes in the palace restaurant.
