A visit to the Rome Wax Museum that combines history and entertainment, with figures of famous people and access to the wax-making workshop, offering a unique and unusual experience.

Although not the Colosseum, the Rome Wax Museum has a lot to offer and is said to have the third largest collection of wax figures in the world. The museum houses historical figures and some modern characters that give it a touch of glamour. You can "rub shoulders" with stars and great figures of history, such as Michelangelo, Picasso, Dante, Oscar Wilde, Winston Churchill or Luciano Pavarotti, right next to Piazza Venezia. It's not exactly a Madame Tussauds and some figures or costumes may seem a bit old-fashioned, but this adds to the charm of this peculiar experience. Plus, your ticket includes access to the workshop where the wax figures are created.
