The entrance to the Pierre Lassonde Pavilion provides access to modern facilities and several contemporary, Inuit and design art galleries, as well as permanent and temporary exhibitions.

This entrance leads to the impressive Pierre Lassonde Pavilion, which serves as the main entrance to the museum complex. Crossing its doors opens up a space dedicated to creativity with a ticket office, checkroom, store, cafeteria and a modern auditorium equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The pavilion houses six galleries dedicated to post-1960 art collections, as well as two temporary exhibition halls and four permanent galleries focused on contemporary art, Inuit art, and decorative arts and design.
