With a ticket to the Nobel Peace Center, you can explore up close the ideas, achievements and efforts of Nobel Peace Prize laureates, leaving inspired to contribute to a more peaceful world. The museum offers interactive exhibits on Alfred Nobel, the history of the prize and its winners, while encouraging reflection on human rights, conflict resolution and global peace. Renowned for its focus on documentary photography, the Nobel Center also serves as an active space for public debates and conversations. Among its permanent attractions are the Nobel Garden, the Nobel Chamber, exhibitions on the winners and the Peace Prizes. In the Nobel Garden, each winner has his or her own display surrounded by a thousand small candles, while in the Nobel Chamber visitors can see a real Nobel Peace Prize. The winners' section includes photos, texts and videos on the life and work of all the laureates, with more than 2,800 articles and 1,500 images, videos and animations, from Martin Luther King to the Dalai Lama. Admission also provides access to all exhibits, including one dedicated to the current Nobel Peace Prize winner, as well as the Nobel Mystery activity, designed to engage children in a fun-filled clue hunt and learning through play.
