About this experience

Explore American history from a different angle at the Mafia Museum, dedicated to organized crime and law enforcement. Through interactive, multi-sensory exhibits, the museum traces the birth of the Mafia, its expansion and its clashes with law enforcement. Although many of these themes appear in documentaries, experiencing them in person allows for a better understanding of the real influence of organized crime on society. Emblematic figures such as Al Capone and Tony Spilotro star in the tour, along with other key figures of the criminal world. The collection includes numerous original objects, such as the Nevada Gas Chamber chair or Bugsy Siegel's glasses, as well as authentic wiretap recordings that helped capture mob bosses in the 1950s. The museum also addresses today's criminality with a huge interactive display showing activities such as drug trafficking, arms trafficking, money laundering and cybercrime, and how authorities are dealing with them. To deepen the experience, an audio guide in English or Spanish can be added, with additional information and surprising historical tidbits.
