The Cologne Chocolate Museum presents the history and process of cocoa with interactive exhibits and tastings.

The Cologne Chocolate Museum (Imhoff-Schokoladenmuseum) tells the history, production and culture of cocoa and chocolate from its origins to the present day. Located on the Rhine, it combines historical exhibits, demonstrative processes and a large tasting area where the transformation of cocoa into chocolate can be appreciated. The tour includes archaeological pieces, historical machines and explanations about trade, botany and processing techniques; in addition, many rooms show practical samples and tastings that make the visit sensory and educational. It is a very popular plan for families and food lovers. At the end, the store and demonstration area offer the opportunity to take home souvenirs and taste artisanal specialties.
